Alarms vs. a Fire Alarm System
In most single-family homes, the right answer is hardwired, interconnected smoke and CO alarms. A fire alarm system goes further, with a control panel that supervises every device, reports troubles, and can connect to a monitoring company that calls for help when it goes off.
Larger and multi-unit properties benefit most. Duplexes, small apartment buildings and large homes with ADUs often need, or are better served by, a supervised system.
Monitoring is a separate service. We install and wire the system. Round-the-clock monitoring is provided by an alarm monitoring company, and we coordinate the connection.
