Common jobs

Hot Tub Jobs We Do

Every hot tub needs its own circuit and protection. These are the jobs we see most.

How it works

How It Works

01

Check the Load

We confirm the spa’s requirements and whether your panel can carry the circuit.

02

Options with Prices

The circuit run, and a sub-panel or panel upgrade if needed, each priced first.

03

Permit and Install

We pull the permit, run the circuit, and install the GFCI disconnect in the right spot.

04

Test

We test the GFCI and the spa’s power before handing it over.

Why it matters

Water and Electricity Need Extra Protection

Hot tubs pull a lot of power, usually a dedicated 240V circuit of 40 or 50 amps or more, and they sit in water. That’s why the circuit needs GFCI protection, and why code requires a disconnect within sight of the spa, at least five feet away from the water.

Your panel has to have room. A big spa can be the load that tips an older 100 amp service over the edge. We run a load calculation before quoting and tell you if a sub-panel or upgrade is needed.

Outdoor runs need protection. Wiring to a spa across the yard has to be buried at the right depth or run in protective conduit.
